This was made when Chapter 1 was released, therefore may not be up to date should any future chapters be released. If a month has passed since the next chapter was released, and I haven't updated this folder yet, you have my full permission to update this folder yourself. Just update the credits by adding your name (if you want). !! Its recommended to have Immediate enabled with the preanimations! But not mandatory lol ================================================ If you are updating this yourself, here's some important information for consistency: All emotes are 4:3 (960x720) with every other frame usually skipped for optimization. If you use EZGif, the delay time is 8. If no frames are skipped, then use 4. If the animation feels too quick or slow, adjust accordingly (some emotes here are delayed by 6 or 10). ================================================ Here's the usual step-by-step of what I did if you want a general idea / want a guide; Extract assets from DreamBBQ and navigate to; Assets>VideoClip Copy needed videos and paste into a folder that has a lot of space. Extract needed frames (usually by ffmpeg, here's the cmd string that I use if the frames are from a video/cutscene;) ffmpeg -codec:v libvpx -i filename.webm frame_%04d.png ! (This will create a lot of files. Use wisely.) Select needed frames and import to EZGif's webp maker. Skip every odd numbered frame. (Example, assuming X means skip; 1X, 2, 3X, 4, 5X, 6, 7X, 8, 9X, 10, etc...) Set delay to 8 and select "don't stack frames". Don't forget to keep quality at 90. Play webp. If satisfied, move to resize. The frames are 16:9, so resizing with the aspect ratio in mind won't cause that many issues. You want to resize it to 1280x720. Once resized, go into split. Select PNG and download the zip file. Extract it somewhere and import frames into a picture editing software. I used Firealpaca. Now crop to 960x720. Note; If the frame is centered, crop by the center. If the frame is side-favoring, crop to the side. Basically, you want to focus on removing the unused space to make it 4:3. You can also ignore this according to your judgement. (Example: SalesArms was customly cropped considering its unique alignment) Extract frames to a folder, then open EZGif's webp maker again. Import frames. Keep all settings the same except change quality to 100, since it was already reduced previously. Press make. Head over to the optimize tab and compress by 100. This might seem counterintuitive, but it actually shaves off about half of the size each time. Not sure why. If satisfied, save as either an (a) or (b) emote. Make sure (a) emotes don't have any talking animations. ================================================ Created: 4/18/2025 Last updated: 4/30/2025 -Bramble (Want the button pdf?
